How: You know what, I am not 100% sure I remember how I met Michelle! (Maybe she can remind me..I was thinking she set up at a conference I coordinated?!) Anyway, she was so nice and not a "pushy" salesperson so I decided to have her over to my house to host a Pampered Chef party. The rest is history.

 Not only are these tasty but they are so DARN cute. Jade can make a variety of flavors and designs ( I mean come on, look at these unicorns!!!!!)


Did I mention Jade is a Photographer too? Yes that is why these pictures are so perfect. (These are NOT stock photos-she took them!! )

Her kitchen looks like it came straight out of a home decor magazine.

How: We both share a love for FFA! I first met her at the Kansas state FFA convention where we were both helping with different portions of the event. She has such a giving personality, bubbly, outgoing and super talented!

How:  We go back to high school where Alicia was the upper classman stud on basketball court, I looked up to her as a little freshman.  Then I found out she wasn't as intimidating in the hallways as she was on the court. Now she is back at the same school as a teacher. Alicia is personable and creative, check out her business!

How: We both love agriculture, cows, and photography (she is great, contact her for pictures too)  We first met when she was in grade school, and I was a high schooler in  FFA where her mom was catering one of our events. Then when she was in FFA I helped her as an alumni member, and the rest is history. Her family has become family to ours.

How: I think we first officially met when she came to a Barn Quilt Class I was teaching. She has supported the many programs and events I have hosted. It turned out to be a small world, he brother actually had my mom as a teacher. Again, the connections continue.
Deidre is an advocate for shopping local , very involved in her small community, and a real go-getter.

How:We were "neighbors" growing up and went to the same school. Growing up it seemed like she was the only one of my friends with similar interests (cooking and crafts)  who also lived on a farm. These connections were what truly built our friendship!

How: I met Jessica when she bought items at a craft fair from me, she then had me make a custom shirt for one of her friends. She is a Wildcat, but her husband is a Cowboy (which I identify with a house divided) They currently live in OK which makes me a tad jealous. Jessica is super sweet and has great ideas on decorating.

How: Well, Rachel and I haven't officially met, although I hope someday that changes :) We were paired up a few years ago through a blogger Christmas exchange. Some days I live vicariously throuh her, wishing I was out riding horses and working cattle rather than my town job. How: We met in college, we were in the same women in ag club. She introduced me to a boy, stuck by me through breakups, she became part of our family at the holiday, and asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding. All in all....a great friend.

I'm BACK! While it may be just for the Holidays, but I am at least back. My enthusiasm for blogging had faded and a full time job consumed my time. Then the holidays hit, I wanted to shop local, I wanted to spread goodness, happiness, and hope. This idea came to me. It had been on my heart and mind for years. Well I decided to quit waiting and make that leap.
